PropertyVault — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PropertyVault (the “App”) handles information. We designed PropertyVault to be offline‑first and private by default. Most data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up or share it (for example, by exporting a CSV/PDF).

1) What data we collect

A. On‑device content you create (stored locally)

This content is stored locally on your device. We cannot access it. If you delete the app or your device is lost, this data may be unrecoverable unless you have exported or enabled backup/sync (see Section 4).

B. Purchases and subscriptions

When you buy PropertyVault Pro (or other in‑app purchases), the App Stores process your payment. We receive non‑sensitive purchase confirmations/receipts (e.g., product ID, transaction status) needed to unlock features.

C. Diagnostics and crash reports (optional / minimal)

We may use privacy‑respecting diagnostics (e.g., crash reports, error logs, basic device info like OS version, app version). These are used only to improve stability and do not include your inventory content. Where available, we use platform‑provided opt‑outs.

We do not collect: advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, calendars, or keyboard input.

2) How we use information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use third‑party advertising networks.

3) Data sharing

We do not share your data with third parties except:

4) Backup & sync (optional feature)

If you enable backup/sync in the future (optional), your data may be transmitted and stored with a cloud provider (e.g., Supabase/Firebase). We will:

Until you enable backup/sync, no inventory data leaves your device.

5) Exports and sharing

When you export a CSV/PDF or a “Claim Pack,” files are created on your device and shared only where you choose (e.g., email, Drive). Use care when sharing exports — they may contain sensitive information (values, serials, receipts).

6) Data retention and deletion

7) Security

We use industry‑standard safeguards (encryption in transit, platform keychains where appropriate). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure; keep regular backups and consider enabling device security (PIN/FaceID).

8) Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g., PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us at support@torchrivernaturals.com for requests. We will verify identity before fulfilling requests. We do not discriminate against users who exercise privacy rights.

9) Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10) International users

If you enable backup/sync, data may be processed in other countries. We will use appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) where required.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted in‑app or via an updated “Effective date.”
